Marije has been practicing yoga since 2008. She came into contact with Pilates through yoga. In her lessons she likes to focus on the combination between flexibility and strength. The core is so important in many (yoga) lessons, but what exactly is that and how do you use it?

In many of her yoga classes she sees that there are a lot of people who are flexible about through yoga, but do not always have the strength to support the flexibility. The stronger your core is, the more power and stability will be transformed to the rest of your body. In her Pilates classes, Marije focuses on strength and core and how this can be applied in yoga. Her lessons are often technical with a lot of explanation. In addition to giving yoga and Pilates classes in Amsterdam, she also organizes yoga weeks in Italy.
