Kirtan Ceremony (donation based)
What is Kirtan:
Basically we come together in a ceremonial circle to chant sacred songs, and sing mantra’s.
Chanting opens the heart, stills, focuses and calms the mind. Singing sacred songs opens up the space for one’s consciousness to expand. It also effects the cleansing and energising of the chakras. Chanting has been done for thousands of years and many people experience the melodies and joyful rhythms that are played in Kirtan circles to be powerful, soothing and regenerative. Kirtan is for everybody, singing together like this we create a space which for many is very liberating. By using your voice you manifest yourself into this reality.
When you exercise Kirtan, your attention will turn inwards like meditation. If you allow each experience to arise and pass, you will open to the power that comes from singing the 'Names of the divine'.
